Greece is the symptom of a wider problem, which is that we have overactive government. This is just a taste of a much larger crisis.
The market peaked out last May 2011. Then it dropped until October 2011. Since then, we are up 25%, so the market is much overbought.
The home builders are up 100%. Marc says to wait for a bit until the correction happens on the S&P500.
Marc is currently invested in real estate in Thailand, as well as some shares in Hong Kong.
All of these markets have become overbought, so Marc isn’t buying stocks in the United States. Instead, he is much more interested in real estate.
If you take a bearish view of the world, then real estate is a good bet because you will own your own property. The market has cleared in Miami, and there is a lot of foriegn money coming in. The banks ask them too many questions, but they can buy a condo.
Many indicators point to a meaningful slowdown in the economy.
